Van Drivers Wanted In DAGENHAM!

Logistics People are looking for Van Drivers based at our TPN Dagenham depot.

Our customer is one of the biggest names within the transport industry, with the latest vehicles on the market, which means you get the best experience and a top range vehicle to work with.

Location: Dagenham RM9 6RS  

Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday Shifts Available - 04:00 - 09:00 Start Windows Available 

Pay Rate:

• Monday - Friday: £12.69 P/hr 

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily walkaround maintenance checks on the delivery van.
• Loading, driving, and unloading the delivery the delivery van.
• Makes deliveries and collections to/from sites in a timely manner.
• Making sure loads are safely secured.

About You: 

• Must hold a full, clean UK driving license with entitlement to drive a 3.5-tonne van – a C1 entitlement is needed
• Previous experience in a similar driving role is desirable. 
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy items as part of loading and unloading duties.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills
