Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in the Nursery class, fostering a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the development and learning of children through creative and engaging activities, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to plan and implement educational activities that promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment, ensuring that all equipment and materials are used appropriately.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the school.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with young children, preferably within a school or nursery setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
