About the Role:
- Position: Nursery Nurse
- Location: Dagenham, East London
- Contract: Term time only, full-time
- Start Date: September or ASAP
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the Nursery class, fostering a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the development and learning of children through creative and engaging activities, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to plan and implement educational activities that promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment, ensuring that all equipment and materials are used appropriately.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the school.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with young children, preferably within a school or nursery setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
