Export Operation Clerk required to join this medium sized agent close to Dagenham Ideal candidate will have a minimum of around 2 years + exp within Seafreight operations
Knowledgeable and experienced LCL, Export operator required to join this busy department. They will need to have prior knowledge of groupage consolidation, handling shipments from arrival in our warehouse up until auditing files after sailing.
Deep sea markets - USA, Asia, India, Middle East, Oceania and South Africa so experience of any of these markets will be essential.
Duties to include:
路 Update PRC sailing schedule form correctly路 Check sailing schedules are uploaded correctly 路 Make bookings with shipping line路 Book in container loading / haulage with warehouse路 Transfer cargo from outer warehouses to loading warehouse路 Submit provisional DGNs to shipping line路 Submit final DGNs to shipping line路 Submit VGM路 Associate UCRs to MUCR / Close MUCR路 Tell carrier the MUCR路 Load planning路 Submit load plan 路 Finalize final load plan路 Submit MBL instructions路 Prepare / check container settlement路 Ensure pre alert docs sent in good time路 File Closing 路 Monitor EMT dashboard on a daily basis路 Liaise with sales & customers to fill low volume containers
