Our client, an established manufacturing company based in Dagenham, are currently seeking a permanent Service Desk Assistant to join their team. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm with free on site parking available.

The main duties of the role are:

  • Planning the new works jobs which include liaising with clients, sites, ordering parts/plant and ensuring sites are ready for installations.
  • Ensuring the engineers are on track daily with their jobs
  • Liaising with the factory to ensure the products are ready
  • Arranging deliveries
  • Creating job packs and RAMs which are job specific
  • Sending O&M manuals and commissioning certificates on completion

In addition to this, you will assist in various other administrative tasks such as signing off invoices for parts, plant and maintenance visits, checking off completed maintenances and covering on the help desk when needed.

For this role you will need to have worked in a similar capacity, where you have demonstrated:

  • Good communications skills, with the ability to liaise and correspond to customers and internal departments and external departments.
  • The ability to deal with queries, chase accounts and resolve planned maintenance issues.
  • The ability to create, manage and present reports
  • Self motivation with a proactive approach
  • Ability to manage a diary and focus on solutions.
