We are seeking a Digital Media Lecturer to join our client's team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher with a passion for digital media and experience in higher or further education settings. The position involves delivering high-quality teaching in digital media, focusing on editing, filming, media knowledge, and 3D modelling.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in digital media, ensuring high standards of learning and student engagement.
- Utilise industry-standard software like Premier Pro for editing and AutoDesk Maya or Blender for 3D modelling.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the digital media industry to ensure relevance in teaching materials.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance course content and delivery methods.
- Timetable to be confirmed; total of 18 hours per week.
- Must be a qualified teacher with one of the following: PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
- Proficient in digital editing tools such as Premier Pro.
- Skilled in filming and media production.
- Knowledgeable in 3D modelling using Blender or AutoDesk Maya.
- Desirable: Experience working in a Further Education (FE) college or educational establishment.
- Desirable: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
