A Good Secondary School based in Barking and Dagenham, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate DT Teacher to join their team ASAP.

This large mixed comprehensive school located in the borough of Barking and Dagenham, are looking to recruit an engaging DT Teacher to join their team ASAP. The very successful Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team are committed to delivering a broad and balanced education, one which focuses on not only academic qualifications, but also the value of vocational qualifications with a big focus on extra-curricular activities. They work very hard to provide their students with a learning environment that encourages each and every student to reach their own potential.

DT TEACHER:

Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful DT department. The department helps students develop the ability to design and make products with creativity and originality, using a range of materials and techniques. It enables pupils to explore the foundation of graphical drawing and using a multitude of tools to craft their designs. It enables pupils to develop skill with machining and making their imagination a reality.

The department are looking for an experienced DT Teacher to join their team - the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching DT to KS3. The role is to start immediately and will be for the autumn term in the first instance.

To be considered for this DT Teacher role you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • PGCE in DT
  • Experience teaching DT to KS3
