An Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Barking & Dagenham who are looking for Graduates who are passionate about their subject to become Academic Mentors to inspire their students and encourage high attainment. Academic Mentors will provide 1:1, and small group support across GCSE English for those who are struggling.

 
English Academic Mentor | Job Summary

  • £90-£100 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) | Paid weekly via PAYE
  • September start, full time, term-time only
  • Work with students who need help with their GCSE exam prep
  • High-achieving school with ambitious students who are eager to learn.
  • Gain experience with students with option for school-based teacher training
  • Work on increasing school attainment
 

As an English Academic Mentor, you can provide invaluable guidance during the students GCSE exam revision. This role requires someone who has previous child centred experience and is ready to work with SEN children. As an Academic Mentor you will need to aspire for your career in Education.

 

We are looking for candidates with a First Class English Degree from a leading UK University, with brilliant A Levels and GCSE’s behind them.
