Graduate Teaching Assistant – Barking & Dagenham – Start Date: ASAP We are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Barking & Dagenham. We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant who has:

  • A 2:1 or 1st class degree from a leading UK university
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong GCSE and A-Level curriculum knowledge
  • Confidence in managing behaviour and delivering small group support
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach to working within a school setting
Key Responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assisting children both inside and outside of the classroom
  • Collaborating with the SEN team and other professionals to provide the best learning opportunities
  • Encouraging progress and helping with curriculum access
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies
