We are seeking a dedicated Production and Performing Arts Lecturer to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in production arts, particularly within a Further Education (FE) setting, and who possesses extensive industry experience.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Production Arts for BTEC students.
- Schedule includes 11.5 hours of teaching spread across Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- Utilise industry experience to provide students with insights into theatre production including crew management, stage management, lighting, prop design, and sound engineering.
- Ensure adherence to BTEC and Quality Assurance processes.
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching Production Arts in an FE BTEC setting.
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Certificate of Education, or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of industry experience with strong current networks and evidence of recent involvement in theatre.
- In-depth knowledge of theatre production processes.
- Desirable: Experience working in a FE college or educational establishment.
