Job Title: Finishing Operative
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 1800-0600

We are looking for an experienced Night Shift Finishing Operative to manage the final stages of print production overnight at our Dagenham facility. You will be responsible for running a variety of finishing machines, such as guillotines, binders, and other print-finishing equipment, ensuring that all products are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain finishing machines such as cutting, binding, and laminating equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished items to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
- Set up machines according to job orders and perform basic troubleshooting when necessary.
- Ensure production deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Report any production issues or concerns to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a print finishing role is required.
- Strong technical skills and an understanding of finishing machinery.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
