Location: Dagenham, EssexSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Flexible BenefitsContract Type: PermanentWorking Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday
The Role in a Nutshell:Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Our client, a thriving distributor known for exceptional customer service and next-day delivery, is seeking a dynamic Warehouse / Operations Manager. Your mission? To evaluate current practices and implement improvements that drive business growth forward!
Main Duties:
- Lead and inspire a team of 2 supervisors and 20 operatives (with a view to expanding) to achieve outstanding results.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and vision, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee all aspects of receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Design and implement an efficient warehouse layout for optimal space utilisation.
What We're Looking For:The ideal candidate will:
- Have a solid understanding of warehouse management and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Possess experience supervising the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System.
- Be a motivational leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
