My client, a manufacturing company based in East London are looking for an experienced Sales Office Manager to join them on a full-time permanent basis to manage the day-to-day operations.
The purpose of this role is to inspire and lead the team to boost their activity levels, analyse current performance, and implement ideas to enhance the division, including process improvements. Additionally, the role involves providing robust administrative support to the broader Sales team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and motivating team leader capable of working effectively with diverse personalities. They should adopt a proactive approach, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
The Sales Office Manager will be:
- Responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service, leading by example as well as day to day management of the team
- Ensuring customer service and operations functions operates effectively ensuring KPIs are met
- Ensure processes and procedures are followed between internal and external teams
- Identify and develop areas for improvement in policies/processes which will enhance the customer experience.
- Offering ongoing coaching and training to the sales coordinators as well as monitoring attendance and performance.
- Developing system improvements to help improve efficiency
- Working closely with the Sales Director to ensure overall growth strategies are effectively communicated and deployed.
- Working directly with key stakeholders to ensure business goals are met.
- Any other duties as required.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role ideally from a related constructionbackground.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, reliable and positive.
- A natural problem solver.
- Committed and career driven.
- Demonstrates commercial awareness and strong customer service skills.
- Someone who thrives under pressure and is happy to work to tight deadlines and with high expectations.
