At Ribbons and Reeves, we are working with a Secondary School in Barking & Dagenham to find them a School Laboratory Assistant for the 24/25 academic year. We are searching for an impressive Graduate from a leading UK University.
School Laboratory Assistant | Job Summary
- £90-£100 per day (inclusive of Holiday pay) | Paid on a weekly basis via PAYE
- September start, full time, term-time only
- Science Graduates only
- On-the-job specialised training offered
- Class-based experience
- Opportunity to gain QTS
School Laboratory Assistant | Role
- Working with children on a whole class, small group and 1:1 basis
- Have an acute awareness of health and safety
- Lead experiments on the KS3,4 and 5 curriculums
- Work with other School Laboratory Assistants to cover the workload of the entire Science department
- Get to work with outstanding Science Teachers, and members of the Schools Senior Leadership Team
This School Laboratory Assistant role requires either a 1:1 or 2:1 Science degree, and preferably some child-based experience.
