We are looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join a secondary school and sixth form in Barking & Dagenham starting January 2025.
The position is full-time and term-time only, focusing on student progress and attainment for Years 7-13.
Key requirements include a 1:1 or 2:1 English Degree from a leading UK university and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with previous teaching experience preferred but ECTs are welcome.
The salary for this role ranges from £35,322 to £53,994 per annum.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to engage and manage behavior among KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.

About the Role:

Full-time, term-time only
Focus on progress and attainment for students in Years 7-13
Lead engaging lessons, supporting both individual and group learning
Work closely with SEN students and manage behaviour effectively
Contribute to raising progress 8 scores and overall student achievement

Key Requirements:
