We are looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join a secondary school in Barking & Dagenham starting January 2025.
The position is full-time and term-time only, focusing on students in Years 7-13 and supporting SEN students.
Candidates should have a 1:1 or 2:1 English Degree from a leading UK university and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with previous teaching experience preferred but ECTs welcome.
The salary for this role ranges from £35,322 to £53,994 per annum.

About the Role:

Full-time, term-time only
Focus on progress and attainment for students in Years 7-13
Lead engaging lessons, supporting both individual and group learning
Work closely with SEN students and manage behaviour effectively
Contribute to raising progress 8 scores and overall student achievement

Key Requirements:

1:1 or 2:1 English Degree from a leading UK university
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required; PGCE desirable
Previous teaching experience preferred, but ECTs are welcome
Enthusiastic, proactive, and confident in supporting SEN students
Ability to manage behaviour and engage with KS3, KS4, and KS5 students

Pay: £35,322 - £53,994 per annum
Start Date: January 2025
