We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Barking & Dagenham starting January 2025.
The role is full-time and focuses on supporting students in Years 7-13 while leading engaging Science lessons.
Candidates must possess a 1:1 or 2:1 Science Degree from a leading UK university and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with previous teaching experience preferred but ECTs are welcome.
The salary for this position ranges from £35,322 to £53,994 per annum.
The ideal candidate will be confident in supporting SEN students and managing behavior, while being proactive and committed to student progress.

About the Role:

Full-time, term-time only
Focus on progress and attainment for students in Years 7-13
Work closely with KS3, KS4, and KS5 students
Lead engaging Science lessons, supporting individual and group learning
Support SEN students and manage behaviour effectively

Key Requirements:

1:1 or 2:1 Science Degree from a leading UK university
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required; PGCE desirable
Previous teaching experience needed, but ECTs are welcome
Confident in supporting SEN students and managing behaviour
Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to student progress

Pay: £35,322 - £53,994 per annum
