Sonic Summary

We are looking for a Lead Youth Worker to provide mentorship to at-risk youth through individualized support and community activities.
The position requires a Level 3 Youth Work qualification and at least two years of experience in a full-time role working with at-risk youth.
The Lead Youth Worker will oversee a team of 2-3 Youth Workers and will be responsible for developing workshops and maintaining compliance with funder requirements.
Strong leadership and relationship-building skills are essential for this role, along with a driving license and access to a car.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

We seek a Lead Youth Worker to mentor young people at risk of serious youth violence through 1-to-1 support, workshops, and community activities.This role will cover community, outreach, and residential works across Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, and Thurrock. You will be leading a team of 2-3 Youth Workers. Key Responsibilities:

Mentor young people and encourage positive choices.
Develop workshops, after-school clubs, and holiday programs.
Build strong relationships within schools and communities.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
Lead a team of Youth Workers.

Requirements:

Level 3 Youth Work qualification (or equivalent) with Level 2 English.
Two years' experience working with at-risk youth in a full-time role.
Experience in mentoring, safeguarding, and youth engagement.
Strong relationship-building and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Driving license and access to a car.
