As a Lead Youth Outreach Development Worker you will:

  • Conduct one-to-one mentoring sessions and facilitate after-work activities.
  • Organise and deliver engaging workshops, activities, and residential initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities and institutions.
  • Provide line management for a small team, offering supervision and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding protocols and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement sustainable mentoring programs.

You'll likely be someone who:

  • Has a minimum of two years' experience in mentorship, community engagement, or activity coordination.
  • Can manage safeguarding incidents and engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Holds relevant qualifications at Level 3 (or equivalent) and Level 2 in English.
  • Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Is familiar with local services and government policies relevant to the role.
  • Has a valid driving license and access to a car.
