As a Lead Youth Outreach Development Worker you will:
- Conduct one-to-one mentoring sessions and facilitate after-work activities.
- Organise and deliver engaging workshops, activities, and residential initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities and institutions.
- Provide line management for a small team, offering supervision and guidance.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement sustainable mentoring programs.
You'll likely be someone who:
- Has a minimum of two years' experience in mentorship, community engagement, or activity coordination.
- Can manage safeguarding incidents and engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Holds relevant qualifications at Level 3 (or equivalent) and Level 2 in English.
- Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.
- Is familiar with local services and government policies relevant to the role.
- Has a valid driving license and access to a car.
