Our client a local community development charity is currently seeking a Youth Development Worker to join their team for an initial 3 month FTC. Working within the Young People’s Services team, you will mentor and support young people in their schools and on their estates that are at risk of becoming involved in Serious Youth Violence through 1-2-1’s, after school activities, and holiday programmes.

We are seeking applications from candidates who are experienced in working and supporting young people on the edge of exclusion/serious youth violence or who have mental health issues. You will also have knowledge in managing safeguarding incidents, delivering successful/positive activities and youth clubs, with the ability to develop relationships with secondary schools, parents, and young people.
