Role Overview:

As a SEN TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other learning challenges. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) to meet the specific needs of each student.

Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.

Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCO to differentiate instruction and modify learning activities to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Supervise and facilitate small group sessions as directed, ensuring that each student receives personalised attention and support.

Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and achievements, and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Patience, empathy, and resilience in dealing with challenging behaviours and situations.

Relevant qualifications or training in special education, autism awareness, or related fields (desirable but not essential).

Please Note:
