SEN Teaching Assistant

We are working closely with a school in Dagenham who are looking for a Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant to join their team starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will be someone with previous SEN experience as you will be working and supporting children who have Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviour.

  • £80 - 110 per day (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Working closely and supporting children with SEN.
  • Holding 1 to 1's with pupils needing extra support.
  • Upholding standards set by the school.
  • Ensuring the safety of both staff and pupils in accordance with safeguarding.

About the School

Located within Dagenham, East London, this is a three-form-entry, local authority community primary school. The age range is from 3 to 11 years (Nursery to Year 6). The school has an on-site after-school provision, which is also the venue for the school's Breakfast Club. Furthermore, they are fortunate enough to have our own catering staff.

The amount of SEN children at the school is roughly 13% above the national average and the school have introduced classes to cater for this. They have a well being room which is available to both staff and pupils.
