About Us:

We are working with a thriving primary school in Dagenham that welcomes all individuals into their inclusive, nurturing and vibrant environment. The school is looking for a Year 3 Learning Support Assistant for an ASAP start. They seek to develop confidence, self-belief, independence and curiosity in all children. The Headteacher is now looking for an experienced Year 3 Learning Support Assistant who can support children in English, Maths and Phonics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the classroom teacher in supporting pupils in English, Maths and Phonics.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience: Previous experience working within a KS1 or KS2 classroom
• Knowledge: Understanding of supporting pupil’s academic learning
• Desirable: Experience working with children in a school setting
