We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our client's dynamic team in the transport industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a strong background in transport compliance and route planning, especially for abnormal loads. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with Driver's Hours Laws and Tachograph regulations, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Develop and manage daily transport plans, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assist with the scheduling of vehicle maintenance and handle insurance updates to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
  • Act as a key point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide support in handling incidents, maintaining FORS accreditation, and ensuring overall compliance within the transport department.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar transport planning role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Competitive salary ranging from 32,000 to 36,000 per annum

Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00
