Responsibilities:
As a Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in completing water hygiene service visits and tasks such as temperature monitoring, water sampling, shower C+Ds, TMV servicing, cold water storage tank clean & disinfecting, and cooling tower clean & disinfecting. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring client sites receive appropriate water hygiene services and comply with industry-specific and Health & Safety legislation.
Communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction and promptly reporting any issues.
Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and colleagues.
Completing field documentation and reports using ZetaSafe, Word, and Excel, ensuring timely circulation.
Making proactive recommendations for system improvements.
Maintaining an inventory of tools and spares for water hygiene works.
Ensuring personal and others' safety, complying with legislation and reporting incidents.
Achieving set KPIs and targets.
Updating water industry knowledge and carrying out Legionella and TVC sampling.
Conducting general water hygiene temperature monitoring, shower clean and descales, and cold water storage tank inspections.
Assisting with cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
Liaising with the Water Hygiene Supervisor on technical issues.
General Requirements:
Experience in mechanical servicing from any industry
Experience in planned and preventative maintenance work
Good basic IT knowledge, experience with emails, and proficiency in Google apps.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Excellent communication, punctuality, and presentation skills.
Willingness to learn and develop.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
