Senior Services Manager

We are delighted to be working with a highly trusted mental health charity, dedicated to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. As Senior Services Manager for the South Scotland region, you will play a pivotal role in leading, managing, and developing services that improve mental health and wellbeing, ensuring they are community-focused, trauma-informed, and compassionate.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Service Delivery and Development:
    • Lead and develop services in line with strategic growth plans.
    • Ensure services meet funding targets, objectives, and contracts.
    • Monitor, evaluate, and analyse feedback and data to propose improvements.
  • Relationships:
    • Build positive, respectful relationships with team members, colleagues, and the wider community.
    • Recruit, induct, manage, motivate, train, and develop staff and volunteers.
  • Managing Resources/Risk:
    • Manage income and expenditure budgets.
    • Ensure Health and Safety compliance and manage risks.
    • Address and resolve complaints and incidents.
  • Support, Supervision, and Development:
    • Provide regular support and supervision to teams.
    • Promote a healthy work-life balance.
    • Reflect on practices and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing mental health and wellbeing services.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of mental health, wellbeing, and trauma-informed practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to upholding human rights and professional boundaries.
