Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in line with national policies and legislation.

  • Provide ongoing support to children and families, helping them access appropriate services and resources.

  • Prepare clear and concise reports for court proceedings, child protection meetings, and other statutory processes.

  • Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance your skills.

About You:

We are looking for a passionate and resilient individual with the following:

  • A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.

  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or eligibility to register.

  • Experience working with children, young people, and families in a social work setting.

  • Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-agency environment.

  • A commitment to promoting positive change in the lives of children and families.

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
