Key Responsibilities:
- Performing mechanical fitting tasks on marine vessels and structures
- Conducting maintenance, repairs and installations on various equipment
- Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure project targets are met
- Documenting and reporting work completed and any issues encountered
- Adhering to project deadlines and maintaining a high level of workmanship
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the marine or offshore or oil & gas sectors
- Strong mechanical fitting skills
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship)
- Full SC Clearance - proof from UKSV will be required
Conract length - 6-9 months
Rate of pay - 39.85/h Umb co or 30.31/h PAYE plus 3.66/h holiday pay
