Due to the nature of the contract, only candidates with full SC Clearance can be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Applying marine-grade paints and coatings to vessels and marine structures
- Maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Ensuring all safety protocols are followed during painting procedures
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Inspecting and maintaining painting equipment and tools
Job Requirements:
- Experience in marine/industrial painting, other heavy industries will be considered also
- Proficiency in using various painting tools and materials
- Strong understanding of marine paint and coating applications
- SC Security Clearance with confirmation from UKSV
- Relevant trade qualification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts and alternative working patterns
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Contract length - Approx. 6-9 months
Rate - 26.17/h umb co or 19.91/h PAYE plus 2.40/h holiday pay
