Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical fitting tasks to be carried out on marine vessels
- Ensuring safety and compliance with marine industry standards
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and technical staff on site
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed
- Ensuring all work is conducted efficiently within the allocated timeframes
Job Requirements:
- Experience as an Electrical Fitter, preferably within the marine industry; experience form other heavy industries such as offshore will also be considered
- Strong knowledge of electrical fitting techniques and standards
- Must be eligible for SC clearance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Capability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Understanding of health and safety regulations within a marine context
Additional Information:
- One rate all hours, with a daily schedule of 10 working hours plus 2 hours travel time
- 40 daily travel allowance
- Certain in date courses/cards are required for the role and the client will arrange as necessary, a slightly lower rate may be applicable during this process depending on what is required.
Rates:
PAYE - 30/h plus 3.62/h holiday pay (which can be accured or advanced)
Umb co - 39.44/h
