Project SHEQ Advisor
Location: Dalry, North Ayrshire
Contract Type: Contract (ASAP - June 2026)
Pay Rate: 25 per hour
First People Solutions is recruiting a Project SHEQ Advisor for a client in Dalry, North Ayrshire. This is a contract role where you'll apply the QSHE management system, promote a positive safety culture, and ensure compliance with best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on QSHE matters and identify hazards.
- Conduct QSHE audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Support and improve QSHE procedures, including risk assessments and PTW.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver QSHE training and ensure compliance with legislation.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in QSHE, with a strong understanding of HSEQ Management Systems.
- CSCS card, NEBOSH National Certificate, and knowledge of UK HSEQ legislation.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proactive, detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Desirable:
- CMIOSH certification or equivalent.
- Training design and delivery experience.
