Mobile Plant Fitter / HGV Mechanic Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mobile repair work on sewer tanker vehicles
  • Time management and planning of day-to-day activities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Liaise with customers to discuss and resolve issues
  • Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with all relevant safety regulations

The successful Mobile Plant Fitter / HGV Mechanic will have:

  • HGV driving licence
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and Repairs (Or equivalent)
  • Experience and knowledge carrying out service, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on trucks
  • Experience in the water and wastewater industry is desirable
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail

Training:

  • Full training will be provided on all aspects of the role, including mechanical and electrical repairs
