We are seeking a talented and experienced Platform Engineer to lead our cloud infrastructure strategy and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our SaaS product.

Description

Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

Design, deploy, and manage our cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) to support our SaaS platform.

Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of the infrastructure.

Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilisation and costs.

Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Implement and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.

Automate routine infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency.
Platform Engineer

Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, relevant aviation regulations).

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.

Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth platform operations.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding infrastructure status and changes.

Participate in customer-facing engagements.

Document all relevant processes and procedures.

Capacity Planning and Cost Optimization:

Forecast future capacity needs and plan for scalability.

Analyze cloud spending and implement cost optimization strategies

Job Offer
