The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with the Heath Family Trust. We are advertising a post on their behalf for the 2024/25 academic year.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Primary Teacher to join one of our schools in the Darebury area. You will be responsible for teaching a class of up to 30 students, including some with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role requires a dynamic teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons, differentiate learning to meet individual needs, and create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Experience working with children with SEN, using appropriate interventions and support strategies
  • A thorough understanding of the UK primary curriculum
  • DBS on the Update Service 

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to achieve the best outcomes
