- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop financial strategies that align with corporate goals and service delivery plans.
- Medium-Term Financial Planning: Lead the coordination of Medium-Term Financial Plan, Revenue Budget, and Capital Programme.
- Capital Strategy & Treasury Management: Oversee capital budgets, funding, and borrowing strategies while driving the development of Treasury Strategy.
- Final Accounts Management: Ensure the smooth and timely production of the final accounts.
- Budget Oversight: Provide financial management and budgetary support to Directors, ensuring robust financial governance.
- Audit Leadership: Manage internal audit processes and be the key point of contact for external auditors.
- Change & Development Projects: Offer financial expertise to support major organisational change, efficiency programmes, and capital development projects

- Qualified Accountant
- Local Government
- Manage stakeholder relationships at strategic and operational level and engage with stakeholders on delivery matters
- Strong financial planning background
- Ability to produce final accounts
