Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for driving impactful change?

As Interim Senior Accountant, you will join an advanced manufacturing company on an exciting transformation journey, building a finance function from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone well-versed in ERP systems, familiar with UK GAAP, and who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. While knowledge of US GAAP is a valuable addition, it is not essential. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting impact on a critical project.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will contribute to all aspects of the finance function. Your responsibilities will encompass daily accounting, financial reporting, planning, forecasting, costings, and maintaining the fixed asset register, as well as various special projects to support the organisation's overall transformation. You will play a key role in management information reporting, developing reports that provide leadership with the insights needed to make informed decisions. Additionally, you will leverage your advanced Excel skills to create financial models that support budgeting, cash flow management, and treasury forecasting, while conducting cost and financial analysis to inform the company's strategic planning.

In this role, you will also be instrumental in audit and compliance activities, ensuring that all financial practices align with UK GAAP standards. This is not a typical finance position; it is an opportunity to shape the future of a newly independent finance function. You will be at the heart of operations, with the chance to impact every aspect of the finance department.
