Reed Accountancy are working closely with an industry leader who have been a pioneer in their sector for over 100 years. 

Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join our team following internal promotions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in finance management, including sales invoicing, debt collection, and customer service. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage complex financial tasks, provide insightful analysis, and lead a team effectively.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide monthly financial reports and sales analysis to the management team.
  • Submit weekly sales forecasts and participate in forecast discussions.
  • Analyse monthly service volumes, identifying trends and variances.
  • Support Key Account Managers with client revenue data and trends.
  • Prepare operational and financial information as required by management.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes with variance analysis.
  • Oversee the sales ledger and credit control team, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Manage the credit control function, maintaining accurate client account records and minimizing debts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified / qualified by experience / currently studying towards an accounting qualification.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and network.
  • Proven team management and leadership experience.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and communicate them effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach.
  • Proficient in finance, sales invoicing, debt collection, and customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
