Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle daily accounting and tax tasks within specific processes.
- Oversee entries for sub-ledger and general ledger closing.
- Handle Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, and chase outstanding invoices.
- Support other members of the accounts team with various tasks.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations accurately within agreed timescales.
- Process transaction corrections, call out process exceptions, and provide timely responses to transaction queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in credit control and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of reporting and month-end processes.
- High levels of accuracy and competence with strong attention to detail.
- Organised approach and good time management skills, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with various teams within Finance.
- Proficiency in Excel, capable of extracting, manipulating, and uploading data.
