This hybrid role is perfect for someone with a strong background in finance or accounts payable, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
About the Role
This is not your average Accounts Payable role. With 50% of the responsibilities focusing on query management (via email), monthly site calls, and reporting, it offers a unique blend of finance and customer service.
You’ll work flexible hours between:
- 08:00 - 16:00
- 08:30 - 16:30
- 09:00 - 17:00

Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage data entry in CBSE Accounts Payable systems.
- Perform manual matching for direct/indirect purchases directly in financial systems.
- Resolve aged invoice queries and escalate matching issues to plant personnel.
- Handle internal/external customer queries, including plant finance, buyers, and suppliers.
- Execute supplier statement reconciliations and ensure timely invoice payments.
- Maintain SOx compliance and ensure processes align with current controls.
- Support projects, testing, improvements, and ad hoc administration tasks.
- Collaborate with a supportive team, meeting SLA targets and delivering excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or finance.
- GCSE-level English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Administration experience is a bonus!
Essential Skills:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in PC applications like Excel and email platforms.
- Experience with Oracle systems is advantageous.
- Strong numerical and business process understanding.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
