Full Job Description:

M4 Specialist are recruiting aClass 1 Driverto work at Savers Distribution Centre in Darlington.

Ideally we require 1+ years of experience withClass 1 Driving.

As an ambassador of the Saversbrand, you must deliver a professional service at all times.

The Depot operates 24 hours a day; 7 days a week so there are various start times available to suit a variety of personal requirements.

Responsibilities of Class 1 driver:

• 2 man team multi drop, delivering cages and totes to Savers stores across the UK alongside a drivers mate who will assist you
• Occasional trunking work may also be available

Hours for a Class 1 driver:

• Monday to Friday
• Shift start times starting between 5pm-9pm and 1 starting between 3am-7am.
• Shifts average 10 hours long
• Temporary ongoing

Pay rates for a Class 1 driver:

• 15.50 days
• 17.50 nights
• 20.00 Saturday/Overtime
• 22.00 Sunday/Bank holiday
• PAYE role only
• Weekly pay

Requirements for the role of Class 1 driver:

• Be aged 25 or over
• Hold a valid UK Class One licence
• Have valid CPC and Digi Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence, only SP offences can be accepted
• No previous disqualifications on your licence
• You will be required to complete a driving assessment and induction before you start, this is a paid assessment.
