Breakfast chef & prep chef for a Events kitchen in the Darlington area. This kitchen does Breakfast for conferences and the prep for the events kitchen. This role will cover weekends as well on rota basis however is daytime hours as it is coveringBreakfast and getting the prep ready for the conference lunches and the evening events. This role is a chef de partie level and would be ideal for a chef looking for nights off but can do prep for a wide range of events and be left in the kitchen on your own before the senior chefs come in at 10am. Salary for the Prep chef / Breakfast chef is 30,000
The role
as a Breakfast and prep chef you will get the breakfast ready and cook to order for event clients looking for breakfasts. You will also work through a prep list for food ready for the conference lunches and the evening events prep. This role is very heavy on the prep side, so you must be fine with prep and be able to work on your own until the senior chefs come in at 10am. This role will include all the normal Breakfast chef and prep chef duties.
Experience
We are looking for a Breakfast chef / Prep chef from a fresh food background. You must be able to do a wide rang eof prep for a range of menus for the conferencnes and events. you also must be reliable and able to work on your own. This role will include all the standard Breakfast chef / Prep chef duties and you must be comfortable with this.
