Senior IT Engineer
Darlington/Onsite
£30,000 - £40,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking technologies.
- Provide escalation support to the 1st and 2nd Line teams.
- Implement effective solutions to recurring IT issues and document best practices.
- Support client IT infrastructure, both remotely and on-site, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats and implement proactive measures to safeguard systems.
- Collaborate with corporate IT teams and vendors on advanced technical projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking infrastructure.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex IT issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, ITIL Foundation) are highly desirable.
- Full UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle for on-site client support.
