The CompanyNigel Wright is pleased to be working with a dynamic, growing manufacturing business in the North East, supporting in their search for a Maintenance Technician. Working continental shifts - salary up to circa £56,000The RoleWhilst working as a Maintenance Technician, key responsibilities will include - •    Provide engineering solutions and assist in an operational capacity when required across the production lines •    Effectively communicate any inefficiencies to the wider engineering team and support practical solutions •    Preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment across site •    Assist with instillation and support contractors when required The PersonThe successful Maintenance Technician - •    Utilise qualifications to add real value to the maintenance and engineering team •    Ideally, you will have completed a multi skilled apprenticeship (4 year) •    Previous experience of working within a high-volume manufacturing environment, ideally having worked with highly automated machinery previously •    Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to increase sophisticated production methods across site •    Strong communication skills, highlighting any inefficiencies to senior management  This is an excellent opportunity to work within an organisation that has significantly invested in modernisation and machinery within recent years.
