Duties:
To welcome people to the ward.
To assist families with their initial needs
To answer the telephone and take messages.
To answer the door video camera and check ID.
To assist the Ward Administrator with various tasks including patient admissions/ discharges and managing the flow of visitors to wards.
To run external errands for staff or parents.
To assist with coffee mornings.
To tidy up and stock information leaflet racks.
To tidy parent sitting room.
To assist families with online services in sitting room.
To organise bookings for parent massage sessions.
Desired skills and experience:
customer care experience
receptionist experience
friendly, welcoming and efficient telephone manner
IT literate able to use Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
reliable and trustworthy
ability to approach parents in a confident and considerate manner
sensitive and tactful nature
emotionally mature
understanding of and ability to learn personal/professional boundaries
Pay: £11.44 Per Hour
