  About the Role:

As a Learning & Development Partner, you’ll play a crucial role in empowering and equipping staff with the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care. This role is not just about teaching—it’s about sharing real-world experiences to prepare teams for the challenges and rewards of working with children in care.

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Delivery:

    • Deliver engaging, hands-on training on key topics, including:
      ✅ Safeguarding
      ✅ Emergency First Aid
      ✅ Internal Pillars Program (bespoke training for the organisation)

    • Use your first-hand experience to ensure training is practical, relatable, and impactful.

  • Learning & Development Strategy:

    • Work closely with the L&D team to design, organise, and evaluate training programs.

    • Ensure training meets regulatory standards while also addressing the real needs of staff.

  • Staff Support & Development:

    • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and coaching across children’s residential services.

    • Support staff with ongoing professional development and best practice guidance.

  • Keeping Training Relevant & Up-to-Date:

    • Stay current with legislation and best practices, ensuring training materials remain accurate and effective.

    • Continuously improve training content to reflect industry changes and organisational needs.
