We are seeking a motivated and experiencedSolar PV Installerto join our clent's existingteam on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential and commercial properties. Prior experience working withSolisandSunsynkinverter systems will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configuresolar PV systemsaccording to project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform wiring and integration of PV systems, includinginverters,batteries, andstorage solutions.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine system requirements and optimal installation locations.
- Collaborate with electricians, roofers, and other tradespeople to complete installations.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, industry best practices, and customer expectations.
- Commission and test systems to ensure proper functionality and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with PV systems, including system faults, wiring issues, and inverter malfunctions.
- Providetechnical supportandaftercareservices to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service work, and customer communications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as aSolar PV Installer, with a solid understanding of PV installation processes.
- Hands-on experience working withSolisandSunsynkinverter systems (preferred).
- Electrical qualifications(e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Familiarity withbattery storage systemsand hybrid inverters is a plus.
- Knowledge ofsolar PV design softwareand ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- FullUK driving licencerequired.
- CSCS cardor equivalent is a plus.
