My client based in Darlington is looking for a Machine Operative to join their team on a permanent basis
Due to rapid growth in various sectors, the client is looking to expand their team by 3 operatives working across a 3 shift rotation pattern.
The suitable candidate will have direct experience of operating machinery, meeting daily production targets and working efficiently in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
Duties of the role include:
- To safely and efficiently operate various pieces of plant machinery
- Working to tight deadlines to ensure customer delivery and collection schedules are achieved
- Following set SOPs when operating machinery
- Regular quality checking throughout the production process ensuring the highest possible standards are maintained, reporting any issues to senior management
- To be computer literate to complete basis data entry tasks
- Keep up to date, and legible production records, logging all necessary data as you go
- Adhering to strict health and safety at all times
Salary: £29k starting salary, increase after 6 months due to a successful probation period
Hours: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am rotating weekly
Role: Immediate start for the right candidate, permanent from day one
