The Michael Page public sector finance team are in search of a skilled Finance Manager to join a successful team to take responsibility for the planning and reporting of the company's financial position, reporting to the Financial Controller.

Description
- Lead the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and timely.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and regular forecasting exercises.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial procedures.
- Manage and mentor the finance team to foster their professional growth.
- Work closely with senior management to provide strategic financial advice.
- Communicate financial information to non-financial managers within the company.
- Drive continuous improvement in the finance function.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A recognised qualification in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication skills, able to relay complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
