Our client, leader in oil&gas and energy industry, is actively looking for an apprentice draughtsperson.

Tasks:

1. Design and Drawing Production

  • Logic Control Circuits: Assist in designing logic control circuits and produce logic drawings that meet the requirements of our subsea products and systems.
  • Manufacturing Drawings: Learn to produce accurate manufacturing drawings, ensuring that they align with the technical specifications and production needs.
  • ERP BOMs & Routes: Support the creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routes in the ERP system, maintaining accuracy and adherence to change control processes.

2. Electrical Design and Interfaces

  • Interface Design: Participate in the design of electrical interfaces for products and systems, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
  • Component Selection: Assist in the identification and selection of appropriate components throughout the design process, considering cost, quality, and performance.

3. Compliance and Standards

  • Power Assessments: Learn to conduct power assessments and contribute to product specification reviews and conformity assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Standards Interpretation: Develop the ability to read and interpret third-party codes, standards, and associations such

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; enrolment in or completion of a relevant technical program or apprenticeship in draughtsmanship, engineering, or a related field.

Skills: Basic understanding of technical drawing, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.), and a strong willingness to learn. Good attention to detail and an interest in engineering and design.

Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.

Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
