The role offers competitive pay rates ranging from £17.25 to £20.38 per hour, depending on the shift and day of the week.
Candidates must have held their HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months and possess a minimum of 3 months of commercial driving experience for insurance purposes.
Responsibilities include delivering to RDCs and stores, unloading using a tail lift and cages, and performing vehicle checks.
Ideal candidates should have a 'can do' attitude and meet specific driving record requirements, including no more than 6 points on their license.

HGV Class 1 driver Faverdale, Darlington.£17.25ph - £20.38phRapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Darlington. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates. This role does require some manual handling of cages and tail lift work. Responsibilities will include:

Delivering to RDCs and stores.
Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and cages.
Vehicle checks
Shift patterns to suit but a weekend shift is preferred.

Days

£17.25ph PAYE – Monday to Friday
£19.25ph PAYE – Saturday and Sunday

Nights

£18.38ph PAYE – Monday to Friday
£20.38ph PAYE – Saturday and Sunday

The ideal candidate.

Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months
You must have at least 3 months commercial experience for insurance purposes
“Can do” attitude
No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
